MaukaPool.jpg

This is the Makau (towards the mountains) pool. It is an "infinity" style olympic size pool.  There is also a heated spa pool.  The gorgeous pavillion buiding is visible behind the pool.  My condo is VERY close the this pool, but away from the noise and foot traffic.

Pavillion.jpg

This is a closer view of the pavillion at the Makau pool.  It is comparable to a Four Season or Ritz Carlton pool side pavillion.  There is a flat screen TV, bathrooms, and complete kitchen facility.

Aina Nalu is located 2 blocks from Front Street where you will find restaurants, galleries, shops, and beautiful views of the  ocean and the island of Lanai.

Aina Nalu retains a true polynesian flavor in its landscaping and building architecture.  The entire 10 acre resort was "gutted" and rebuilt in 2005-2006.  Interior design of all units was done by Philbotts, and award winning design company

Jacaranda.jpg

AinaNalu3.jpg

This is the Jacaranda Building.  It is the only building of its kind at Aina Nalu. My condo is on the first floor which makes it easy for loading and unloading luggage or groceries. The back door is very close to parking. The fountain feature is in the foreground.

Although there are 188 condos in the resort, the condos in this unique building sold for $20,000 more due to the small. private building and ideal location.

LivingBar.jpg

Living room, bar, and sofa bed.  The back French door opens to the West Maui mountains.  It is very convenient to use this door to load and unload groceries and luggage.

The kitchen is full service and has everything you need to prepare meals.  It has a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, conventional oven, stove, blender, coffee maker, and all the usual accessories needed to prepare meals.  The counter tops and bar are dark gray basalt granite.

Armory Beach located near the old Lahaina armory. Closest beach to Aina Nalu,  a 10 minute walk or 3-5 minute drive with free 3 hour parking.  It is safe with good surfing.  On Front Street near the 505 Front Street shopping area directly across from the basketball and tennis courts.  About two blocks from the Banyan Tree on Front Street.

Shower at Armory Beach with 505 Front Street in the background.  Parking is near Front Street.  There are many other famous beaches within a 15 or 20 minute drive.  They are all listed in the front of the Maui County phone book.

505 Front Street shops and restaurants.  This is on  the South side of Lahaina business district.  Amory Beach is to my right when I took this photo.  The basketball and tennis courts are to my left, across from 505 Front Street. Edit Text

View of the back of the Wharf Cinema complex. You can walk through a parking lot across from Aina Nalu and into the Wharf Cinema for movies, food, more shops, and galleries.  When you exit on the other side of Wharf Cimema, you are on Front Street across from the famous Banyan Tree, harbor, and the ocean.  Edit Text

websiteainanaluphotos14.jpg

View down Front Street from the North end.  Warren and Anabelles' Magic Show is to my left.  Ocean to my right.  This street is closed for Haloween night and it is very much like Mardi Gras with outrageous costumes and endless fun.

websiteainanaluphotos12.jpg

This is and absolute must do while on Maui.  One of the best shows I have ever seen. You will  be amazed as Warren makes bowling balls disappear in front of your eyes.  This incredible show is  preceeded by a delicious meal and entertainment by Anabelle the local ghost.  Book early, it's always sold out.

websiteainanaluphotos0016.jpg

This is it!  A show you definitely should see.

Another view South down Front Street with the  ocean to the right.

If you enjoy history you can visit many Lahaina historical sites in a day. You can get a map from any of the activity desks in Lahaina.  The Baldwin House Museum circa 1834 is one of many historical sites

websiteainanaluphotos44.jpg

The Pioneer Inn is another Lahaina building with a lot of history.  It is across the street from the Banyan Tree and very close to the harbor.  Today it is a bed and breakfast hotel and restaurant.

websiteainaaluphotos0037.jpg

The Banyan Tree.  Although it looks like many trees grown together, it is actually one huge tree.

websiteainaaluphotos0042.jpg

View of Lahaina Harbor behind the Banyan Tree and Pioneer Inn.  This is where you can catch the Expeditions Ferry to Lanai.  There are also many boats for whale watching in season, fishing, snorkeling, scuba, submarine and glass bottom boats for dry viewing of marine life.

websiteainanaluphotos0043.jpg

This is where you can buy tickets on the ferry to Lanai.  There are several departures per day.  Lanai has two beautiful resorts worth seeing - The Manele Bay and The Lodge at Koehle.  Dolphins can usually be seen in the Manele Bay Harbor as the ferry arrives.

websiteainaaluphotos0045.jpg

You can have your photo taken here with several beautiful parrots.  These parrots are in front of the Pioneer Inn almost every day.

websiteainaphotos052.jpg

Now we are back near Aina Nalu.  This attractive building is across from Aina Nalu.  It is the Maui Jim Building and is the Maui Jim sunglasses corporate headquarters.

websiteainanaluphotos0013.jpg

Longhis restaurant has been in Lahaina for many years.  It is located on the corner of Lahainaluna and Front street.  The menu is given verbally.  There are no paper menus!  Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Foodland is the market for all your grocery needs.  Located on Waine'e Street two blocks from the Aina Nalu condo . Very good deli food here.  Starbucks is next door with Jamba Juice nearby.

websiteainanaluphotos0017.jpg

Ulalena is another great live show.  This is a beautiful depiction on stage of the history of Hawaii and its Kings and Queens and mythology.  Wonderful costumes, music, and dancing.  Near Foodland.

websiteainanaluphotos0019.jpg

Here is Jamba Juice near Foodland, Starbucks, and Ulalena.

websiteainanaluphotos0020.jpg

Lahaina Square is across from Foodland.  This is 2 blocks from Aina Nalu and is a good place to go for good fast food.  Ace Hardware has all your household needs and there is even a good Yoga studio near the back of Lahaina Square.

websiteinanaluphotos0023.jpg

Vinny's Pizza in Lahaina Square has won Maui awards.   Again, this is only two blocks from Aina Nalu, but if you're feeling really lazy............................................they deliver.

websiteinanaluphotos0022.jpg

Maui Tacos has great fast food.  You will find it in Lahaina Square.  Fabulous fish tacos.

websiteainanaluphotos0024.jpg

More things to do on Maui.  In Lahaina Square, Spirit  Yoga is a great place to relax and meditate.  There is also Bikram Yoga near the Hard Rock Cafe.

websiteainaaluphotos0002.jpg

The Sugar Cane Train is a real hit with the younger kids.  It departs from Lahaina and runs all the way to Kanapali.  About 1 1/2 hour round trip.  Enter off of the Honoapilani'i Highway near Pizza Hut.

websiteainaaluphotos0003.jpg

The famous Lahaina "L" can be seen in the West Maui mountains above Lahaina.  This is also visible from the back windows of my condo.

websiteainanaluphotos0006.jpg
